El Control Numérico Computarizado (CNC) se ha consolidado como una tecnología de precisión ampliamente utilizada en los procesos de fabricación de piezas complejas. En el contexto de la producción de placas de circuito impreso (PCBs), la precisión en el mecanizado es esencial, especialmente para componentes de montaje superficial (SMD) que requieren tolerancias estrictas. Este artículo describe el desarrollo de una máquina CNC de tres ejes, diseñada para mecanizar PCBs con alta precisión, con el objetivo de satisfacer las necesidades de prototipado de bajo costo. La máquina se controla mediante un sistema Arduino y utiliza softwares CAD y CAM para el control de la producción, integrando el lenguaje G-code para garantizar la precisión de los movimientos.
