Resumen

Música e arquitetura são duas das mais antigas formas de expressões artísticas desenvolvidas pelo homem. Esses dois temas apresentam conexões que passeiam desde as composições, sejam elas musicais ou arquitetônicas, até as emoções que os resultados finais são capazes de despertar. Por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, o presente artigo objetiva estabelecer os nexos existentes entre a música em geral e a arquitetura, além de, consequentemente, incentivar a música como forma de inspiração durante os processos criativos de projetos. Para que uma música agrade o ouvinte, é necessário que ela esteja de acordo com os seus elementos básicos de composição: harmonia, ritmo e escala musical são alguns exemplos. A arquitetura não é diferente, pois para que uma obra seja agradável às pessoas, precisa ter perfeita harmonia, estética e proporção adequada. Basicamente, são elementos que apresentam grande similaridade. Por conseguinte, é importante que as pessoas compreendam a relação entre música e arquitetura para melhor aproveitá-la como uma forma de inspiração.
