DESARROLLO DE UNA APLICACIÓN PARA EL PLANEAMIENTO DE PRÓTESIS PARCIALES REMOVIBLES A TRAVÉS DE SMARTPHONES: PRÓTESE PLAN

La rehabilitación oral con prótesis parciales removibles tiene como objetivo restaurar la función masticatoria, la estética y la calidad de vida de los pacientes. Con los avances de la Odontología Digital, surgió la propuesta de desarrollar Prótese Plan, una aplicación enfocada al planeamiento digital de prótesis parciales removibles, creada para facilitar el trabajo de cirujanos dentistas, estudiantes y técnicos, mejorando la precisión, eficiencia y comunicación. El estudio siguió el modelo de Diseño Instruccional Contextualizado (DIC), contemplando el análisis de necesidades, revisión de tecnologías, diseño de pantallas interactivas, desarrollo utilizando React Native y Typescript, e implementación para su disponibilidad gratuita. La aplicación presenta una interfaz amigable en tonos lila y azul, con seis pantallas navegables, incluyendo el registro de pacientes, manipulación de arcadas dentarias y diseño del planeamiento protésico. Es compatible con dispositivos Android a partir de 2GB de RAM y 100MB de almacenamiento, garantizando una accesibilidad adecuada. Prótese Plan se configura como una herramienta innovadora que contribuye al planeamiento rehabilitador, la enseñanza y la práctica clínica en Odontología, adaptándose a diferentes enfoques terapéuticos y favoreciendo la comunicación entre profesionales.
