PROPUESTA DE UN PROTOCOLO DE ENTRENAMIENTO COMBINADO SOBRE LAS RESPUESTAS GLUCÉMICAS EN RATONES CON DIABETES

O objetivo deste artigo foi caracterizar e propor um protocolo experimental de entrenamiento combinado para ratones con diabetes. El estudio se llevó a cabo con ratones (Mus musculus) machos de la cepa Swiss. Los animales fueron aleatorizados en dos grupos: Grupo Combinado Normoglucémico y Grupo Combinado Diabético. La inducción de la diabetes se realizó mediante la administración intraperitoneal de estreptozotocina. El Protocolo de Entrenamiento Combinado (EC) se caracterizó por la combinación del Entrenamiento Aeróbico (EA) y el Entrenamiento de Fuerza (EF). El EA consistió en un volumen de treinta minutos de natación. El protocolo de EF se realizó en una escalera estandarizada para entrenamiento resistido en roedores, siguiendo una prescripción de progresión semanal. La glucosa sanguínea se midió en la región de la punta de la cola de cada animal. El análisis estadístico se realizó considerando un nivel de significancia de p ≤ 0,05. Se observaron resultados de aumento de la fuerza y, en consecuencia, progresión de las cargas con el EC, registrándose también una reducción de la glucemia durante el período estudiado. Los resultados destacan que el protocolo experimental propuesto de entrenamiento combinado fue efectivo para promover una mejora glucémica y favorecer adaptaciones positivas en el acondicionamiento muscular en modelos de ratones con diabetes.
