PERFIL SOCIODEMOGRÁFICO, ECONÓMICO Y DE COMPORTAMIENTO DE LAS MUJERES VÍCTIMAS DE VIOLENCIA DOMÉSTICA ACOMPAÑADAS POR LA CENTRAL DE MONITOREO ELECTRÓNICO DE PRESOS EN SERGIPE

La violencia doméstica contra las mujeres es un problema de salud pública influenciado por factores sociales, económicos, conductuales y familiares. Este estudio describió las características sociodemográficas, económicas, conductuales y el historial de violencia familiar de 66 mujeres acompañadas por la Central de Monitorización Electrónica de Presos en Sergipe, en 2025. Se trata de un estudio observacional, transversal y cuantitativo, en el que los datos se recopilaron mediante un cuestionario estructurado elaborado por los investigadores, que incluía información sobre raza/color, estado civil, nivel educativo, ocupación, ingresos, hábitos de vida, autocontrol del estrés y experiencias de violencia familiar. Los resultados mostraron un predominio de mujeres pardas y negras, solteras, con un nivel educativo medio-bajo, en su mayoría sin actividad remunerada y con ingresos mensuales de hasta un salario mínimo, lo que indica vulnerabilidad socioeconómica. El 54,5 % informó consumo de bebidas alcohólicas, el 56,1 % dificultades para manejar el estrés y el 12,1 % tabaquismo. Aproximadamente la mitad de las participantes fue testigo de violência familiar y 26,2% sufrió violencia en la infancia por parte de algún familiar. La violencia doméstica se produjo principalmente durante el matrimonio o la unión estable, pero también en otros contextos familiares. Los resultados sugieren que la violencia doméstica es multifactorial, ya que asocia vulnerabilidades socioeconómicas, antecedentes de violencia familiar y estrategias de afrontamiento inadecuadas. Cabe destacar la necesidad de políticas públicas e intervenciones integradas que promuevan la autonomía, el apoyo emocional y el acceso a redes de protección. Además, se evidencia la importancia de nuevos estudios con muestras más amplias y diversificadas para investigar los factores de riesgo, las estrategias de afrontamiento y los mecanismos de protección, contribuyendo al desarrollo de acciones preventivas y de atención más eficaces.
