EVALUACIÓN PRELIMINAR DE LA TERAPIA CON PLASMA RICO EN PLAQUETAS SISTÉMICO (S-PRP) COMO ENFOQUE TERAPÉUTICO EN LA ENFERMEDAD RENAL CRÓNICA: UNA SERIE DE CASOS CLÍNICOS.

La enfermedad renal crónica (ERC), una patología multifactorial caracterizada por inflamación tubulointersticial, atrofia tubular y fibrosis intersticial con función renal reducida, afecta a pacientes geriátricos, disminuyendo su calidad de vida. Ante la falta de un tratamiento definitivo, este estudio tiene como objetivo describir el uso de la terapia sistémica con plasma rico en plaquetas (PRP-P) como terapia adyuvante en tres gatos con ERC refractaria al tratamiento convencional. Los resultados mostraron una disminución en los niveles de creatinina y urea, así como una mejoría clínica. Se concluye que la terapia con PRP-P demostró una respuesta clínica y de laboratorio favorable en la estadificación de los tres pacientes tratados, lo que sugiere que podría ser una opción para pacientes con ERC.
