ANÁLISE DAS POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS DE ESPORTE E LAZER NO MUNICÍPIO DE CARAÍ

O esporte e lazer é um dos direitos sociais da população que dever fazer parte do conjunto das políticas de intervenção pública do município. A presente pesquisa consiste numa análise das políticas publicas de Esporte e Lazer no Município de Caraí, adotando como recorte temporal o período de 2002 a 2017. O objetivo principal da pesquisa foi mapear as iniciativas do município de Caraí em Esporte e Lazer no período de 2002 a 2017. A investigação orientou-se pela seguinte questão central: Que iniciativas no circuito das políticas públicas na área de esporte e lazer foram desenvolvidas no período de 2002 a 2017 no município de Caraí? Em termos metodológicos consistiu numa pesquisa bibliográfica e documental foca na análise das categorias: o direito ao esporte e lazer; o esporte no contexto das políticas públicas em esporte e lazer; o Município de Caraí-MG e os programas/projetos em esporte e lazer. Considera-se os programas como chute certo, os jogos escolares municipais e estaduais, o projeto potencias esportivas, o JIMI, grupo vida alegre, dentre outros, como expressões das políticas públicas de esporte e lazer no município com resultados exitosos. Por outro lado, prevalece desafios de melhoria do índice de desenvolvimento do esporte municipal leis criação de fundos municipais específicos que permitam uma maior regularidade e continuidade da política, organização de eventos e conferências em gestão de esporte e lazer, dificuldades de investimento de iniciativa privada.
