AS EXPRESSÕES LINGUISTICAS E O SOTAQUE COMO FATOR DE IDENTIDADE ETNICA, CULTURAL, SOCIAL E ECONOMICA REGIONAL- UM RECORTE DO VALE DO MUCURI

O Brasil é um país com um amplo território e mesmo assim, possui uma língua única. Essa condição de país continental, além de contribuir para uma grande diversidade nos hábitos culturais, religiosos, políticos e artísticos, influenciou e deixou na língua portuguesa marcas que acentuam a riqueza de vocabulário e de pronúncia. Como a linguagem é um fenômeno social, de acordo com (Orlandi, 2006), é necessário recorrer às variações provenientes do contexto social, que toma a sociedade como causa e vê na linguagem os reflexos das estruturas sociais. Em toda comunicação, a variação das formas linguísticas é constante.Este regionalismo aliado ao sotaque, que é a manifestação mais clara dos traços prosódicos de uma região, faz com que fique caracterizado claramente a origem do indivíduo e sua vinculação com determinada região.Neste aspecto o Vale do Mucuri carrega em seu sotaque e em inúmeros vocábulos próprios, tanto falados ou escritos, a marca indelével de suas raízes históricas, com leve predominância para o nordestino.
