AS MULHERES ENCARCERADAS E AS REGRAS DE BANGKOK

Cuida-se a presente investigação científica de uma análise da realidade das mulheres encarceradas e da acolhida da legislação brasileiras das Regras de Bangkok. O texto descreve uma conjuntura do contexto histórico das mulheres em situação de cárcere no país e o descaso do poder público na garantia dos direitos básicos a essa população. O objetivo principal consiste em analisar os principais obstáculos à redução das mulheres encarceradas e propor ao debate estratégias na garantia dos direitos inerente à dignidade das mulheres em situação de cárcere. Quanto ao quesito metodologia, a pesquisa perpassou numa revisão de literatura desde trabalhos publicados nos últimos dez anos e na legislação vigente sobre a política de atendimento à mulher privada de liberdade como conceito teórico-bibliográfico. Logo, o discurso sobre o tema apresentado representa um ponto de reflexão no sentido de que, a política da justiça criminal da mulher, ainda é um desafio a ser superado por esse grupo desguarnecido pela sociedade, em que as pessoas valem pelo que representam e pelo que tem aos olhos da sociedade.
