Métodos de Estabilização de Taludes em Barragens de Abastecimento:
Estudo de Caso no Município de Itambacuri – Minas Gerais

A existência de pequenas barragens de abastecimento de terra é muito comum no território brasileiro, sendo sua finalidade tanto a gestão dos recursos hídricos, como o armazenamento de água nos períodos chuvosos, visando atender a demanda no fornecimento. Este trabalho buscou, através da analise de projetos, documentos e pesquisas in loco, desenvolver um estudo de casos de análise de estabilidade do talude da barragem de abastecimento do município de Itambacuri no estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil. A pesquisa foi embasada capitalmente em documentais de dados e informações fornecidas pela prefeitura de Itambacuri, sendo eles o memorial descritivo da barragem, levantamento topográfico, relatório de sondagem, estudos hidrológicos e dimensionamento hidráulico e estrutural da barragem em questão. Os resultados obtidos elucidaram questões importantes como a viabilidade do método de contenção, a eficácia da estabilidade, entre outros.
