POR UMA TERMINOLOGIA CINESIOLÓGICA APLICADA À LIBRAS

Este texto tem como objetivo refletir sobre a possibilidade da utilização de uma disciplina preexistente, a Cinesiologia, aplicada ao Estudo das Línguas de Sinais, no caso, a Libras (língua de sinais brasileira), no aspecto de sua descrição. Assim como existe um rigor na terminologia das estruturas anatômicas e dos movimentos articulatórios da fala oral também deve existir a mesma preocupação quanto à fala sinalizada. Apresentando princípios básicos da Cinesiologia e aplicando-os a exemplos extraídos do Deit-Libras: Dicionário enciclopédico ilustrado trilíngue da Língua de Sinais Brasileira (CAPOVILLA; RAPHAEL; MAURICIO, 2013) demonstro a possibilidade de que a nomenclatura cinesiológica seja utilizada para garantir rigor acadêmico e acurácia na descrição de línguas de sinais. Concluo, apontando para novas possibilidades de pesquisa, advindas deste primeiro trabalho, e para uma necessária parceria entre estudiosos das línguas de sinais com aqueles que se dedicam à cinesiologia
