O TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA (TEA) NO CONTEXTO DA PANDEMIA POR SARS-CoV-2

Neste trabalho foi realizada uma revisão da literatura sobre os impactos da pandemia por SARS-CoV-2 para as crianças com TEA e para os seus pais/cuidadores. Os estudos analisados indicam que a pandemia por SARS-CoV2 resultou em um período desafiador para muitas famílias de crianças com TEA. Levando ao aumento da dificuldade no manejo das atividades diárias dessas crianças, e à intensificação dos problemas comportamentais. As crianças com TEA experimentam mudanças nas rotinas como um grande desafio, por esse motivo, a necessidade de adaptação durante a pandemia por SARS-CoV-2 foi descrita como desafiadora para as crianças e para seus familiares.
