SUPORTE VENTILATÓRIO EM PACIENTES CRÍTICOS COM INFLUENZA A

Este trabalho propôs-se realizar uma revisão de literatura para identificar o adequado suporte ventilatório em pacientes com Influenza A. Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico referente a publicações a partir de 2009, com base nos principais artigos da literatura que englobam ventilação mecânica na influenza A, através de pesquisa nas bases de dados Scielo, Google Acadêmico e BIREME, percebeu-se que os pacientes com influenza A tem rápida evolução principalmente para síndrome do desconforto respiratório agudo, o que necessita de rápido tratamento medicamentoso e correto suporte ventilatório, uma vez que esta patologia acomete direta e rapidamente o sistema respiratório. A maioria dos estudos aponta para utilização da ventilação mecânica invasiva, com parâmetros e estratégias ventilatórias protetoras pois diminui a mortalidade destes pacientes e a contraindicação da ventilação mecânica não invasiva. Desta forma, pacientes com influenza A que evoluem para síndrome do desconforto respiratório agudo se beneficiam da ventilação mecânica invasiva com parâmetros protetores, o que não ocorre comventilação mecânica não invasiva, a qual nestas condições está contraindicada.
