The research is bibliographic in nature and engages with classic and current authors in the field of education, seeking to understand how initial preparation and ongoing training can contribute to overcoming pedagogical barriers in everyday school life. The results highlight the importance of consistent public policies, curricula that value diversity, and methodologies that promote equity in learning. It is concluded that investing in inclusive teacher training is essential to consolidate a democratic school, capable of welcoming and respecting the social and cultural diversity of students.
