Abstract

As tecnologias vêm influenciando na metodologia dos professores de matemática. A inteligência artificial (IA) está cada vez mais ganhando espaço no ambiente educacional e no ensino de matemática isso não é diferente. No ensino médio, o método utilizado para trabalhar o conteúdo de probabilidade ainda prevalece o tradicional, sem muito envolvimento do alunado. O professor deve inovar com propostas de ensino que conquiste seu aluno para a disciplina. A pesquisa teve como objetivo geral investigar a perspectiva de professores da escola CETI Francisco Nunes sobre as contribuições da IA na construção e uso de materiais manipuláveis para o ensino de probabilidade. O problema dessa pesquisa consiste em sabermos: qual a perspectiva de professores da escola CETI Francisco Nunes sobre as contribuições da IA na construção e uso de materiais manipuláveis para o ensino de probabilidade? A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa. Os sujeitos envolvidos foram três professores que trabalham com o componente curricular de matemática e um que trabalha com a disciplina inteligência artificial na educação básica da cidade de São Gonçalo do Piauí em que utilizamos um questionário semiestruturado com perguntas objetivas e subjetivas sobre a temática e pedimos que estas respondessem. Sobre a familiaridade com a IA, 75% disseram que têm nível básico e 25% avançado. 50% dos professores consideram positiva sua experiência no ensino de probabilidade com uso de IA, enquanto 25% consideram muito positiva ou neutra. Todos os professores acreditam que a IA poderia auxiliar no planejamento e na execução de aulas de probabilidade que utilizam materiais manipuláveis. Conclui-se que o professor pode melhorar suas aulas de probabilidade utilizando a IA, de forma responsável e direcionada, tanto na construção e uso de matérias manipuláveis como também para aproximar o alunado dessa matéria que ainda é temida por muitos.
