Religious intolerance is a persistent phenomenon in Brazilian schools, reflecting historically rooted exclusionary cultural and social practices. This study aims to analyze the manifestations of religious intolerance in schools and discuss pedagogical strategies capable of promoting respect for religious diversity. The research was conducted using a qualitative, bibliographic, and exploratory approach, based on a critical analysis of recent academic works and current educational legislation. The results indicate that adopting a socio-anthropological perspective in religious education and critical teacher training are fundamental elements for confronting intolerance and promoting a school culture that values religious diversity. It is concluded that, to ensure the full exercise of freedom of belief in the educational context, it is essential to invest in public policies and pedagogical practices that promote citizenship, interreligious dialogue, and respect for cultural diversity in our country.
