EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIES FOR CRIME REDUCTION IN THE CONTEXT OF FOOTBALL

This study investigates the role of education and knowledge dissemination through digital media in preventing crime in football, especially in stadiums. The research, which adopted a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach, used online questionnaires (Google Forms) with open- and closed-ended questions administered to a representative sample of 142 people. The study population included fans, security professionals, educators, and football club managers, totaling 142 people. The results show that the re-education and resocialization of offenders through community work programs in sports, courses on mutual coexistence and non-violence, and participation in educational campaigns are crucial measures for transforming violent behavior and mitigating social harm. Furthermore, the modernization of public policies is crucial.
