This work is part of a research where the objective is the development of a numeric study involving structures of guyed metallic towers of square transverse section, used for systems of telecommunications, submitted to the action static of the wind. The procedures adopted for the determination of the static forces of the wind follow the methodology described in Brazilian Code – NBR6123. For the numeric study, the guyed towers were modeled using linear and nonlinear mathematical formulations that allow the introduction of prestressing forces in the elements of cable of the towers as well as the effects of the variation of the temperature. These models were introduced in four programs developed by Menin, whose results obtained were compared to the of the commercial program SAP2000.
