This study investigated the influence of incorporating waste glass powder (WGP) on the physical-mechanical properties of extruded ceramic tiles. Clays from Cerâmica Barro Forte and waste from the company Vitoria Vidros, both located in Teresina-PI, were used. Raw materials were characterized by grain size analysis, Atterberg Limits (for clay), XRF, XRD, and TG. Four formulations were developed: a reference (F0) and three with partial replacement of clay by WGP at levels of 5% (F5), 10% (F10), and 15% (F15). The specimens were fired at 950°C. The results indicated that the glass acted as a fluxing agent, reducing water absorption from 16.5% to 10.5% and decreasing apparent porosity. The F10 formulation showed the best mechanical performance, reaching 8.4 MPa in flexural strength, a 61.5% increase compared to the standard sample. It is concluded that using 10% glass waste is technically feasible and promotes sustainability in the regional ceramic sector.
