Mortar rendering plays a fundamental role in civil construction, contributing to the protection, durability, and functional performance of buildings. Among the existing typologies, mixed mortars, composed of cement and lime, stand out for their balance between mechanical strength and deformational compatibility. This study aimed to conduct a technical-descriptive review of the scientific production on mixed rendering mortars from 2015 to 2025. The article survey was carried out in the Web of Science (Clarivate), SciELO, and OasisBR databases through structured search strategies, followed by the removal of duplicates and the classification of articles according to compositional criteria and alignment with the tests established in ABNT NBR 13281-1. A predominance of traditional volumetric mix ratios, such as 1:1:6 and 1:2:8, was observed, with experimental results concentrated within relatively close ranges when similar methodologies were adopted. A higher incidence of classical mechanical tests was identified, while parameters related to durability were less frequently addressed. Regarding additives, mineral residues were the most recurrent, followed by fibers and polymers, with distinct effects on strength and deformability. It is concluded that, despite the international methodological diversity, there is convergence among technical trends, reinforcing the importance of mixed mortars and the need for greater experimental standardization and further investigation of normatively relevant properties.
