GESTÃO DEMOCRÁTICA EM ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS MUNICIPAIS DE LINHARES/E

Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa de iniciação científica, possui abordagem qualitativa, teórica e reflexiva do tipo estudo de caso. Teve por objetivo desenvolver uma análise sobre a atuação do Conselho de Escola em Escolas Municipais de Linhares, estado do Espírito Santo. O Artigo é composto por discussões teóricas acerca das diversas formas de organização e gestão da escola, assim como resultados e discussões da parte empírica da pesquisa. Utilizou-se como instrumentos de construção de dados questionários e observações que foram vivenciadas nas escolas objeto da pesquisa e, as análises dos dados foram organizadas em categorias temáticas definidas a priori. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstram que o Conselho Escolar possui caráter atuante, mas ainda há o que melhorar, principalmente em relação à atuação e participação de pais e/ou responsáveis, bem como o funcionamento de questões mais práticas e burocráticas e promoção das informações sobre o próprio Conselho. Verificou-se também que o Conselho tem maior atuação em questões financeiras e fiscais, atribuindo-lhe assim sentido mais fiscal do que pedagógico, deliberativo e/ou político-partidário
