A EFETIVIDADE DA LEI MARIA DA PENHA NO COMBATE À VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA E FAMILIAR CONTRA A MULHER

A Lei Maria da Penha (Lei n.º 11.340/2006) representa um marco no enfrentamento da violência doméstica e familiar contra a mulher no Brasil. Sua efetividade é observada na criação de mecanismos de proteção mais rápidos e específicos, como as medidas protetivas de urgência, que permitem ao Estado intervir imediatamente para preservar a integridade física e psicológica da vítima. A lei também promoveu avanços institucionais, como a criação de juizados especializados, delegacias de atendimento à mulher e políticas públicas voltadas à prevenção e educação.
