EVALUACIÓN DE LAS PROPIEDADES FÍSICAS DE COMPUESTOS ECOLÓGICOS DE POLIPROPILENO RECICLADO Y FIBRA DE SISAL

La creciente preocupación por la sostenibilidad está ligada a la producción de materiales más sostenibles, lo que impulsa el interés en compuestos poliméricos respetuosos con el medio ambiente. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este estudio fue preparar y caracterizar compuestos sostenibles a partir de polipropileno reciclado (PPr) y fibra de sisal en proporciones del 10, 20 y 30 %. Se realizaron análisis de densidad, dureza y absorción de agua en los compuestos formados tras el moldeo por extrusión y compresión. Los resultados demostraron que la adición de la fibra natural redujo las propiedades de densidad y dureza de los materiales. La adición del relleno fibroso aumentó significativamente la absorción de agua de los compuestos formados.
