EDUCACIÓN INCLUSIVA Y FORMACIÓN DEL PROFESORADO: RETOS PEDAGÓGICOS EN LA IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE LA INCLUSIÓN ESCOLAR

El presente estudio analiza cómo la consolidación de las políticas de educación inclusiva en Brasil ha ampliado el acceso de los alumnos con discapacidad a la enseñanza ordinaria, al tiempo que pone de manifiesto los retos relacionados con la formación del profesorado y la organización de las prácticas pedagógicas en las escuelas. En este contexto, la consecución de la inclusión escolar depende, en gran medida, de la capacidad de los docentes para desarrollar estrategias pedagógicas que reconozcan y valoren la diversidad presente en los espacios educativos. Partiendo de esta problemática, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar los retos pedagógicos a los que se enfrentan los docentes de Educación Básica en la implementación de la Educación Inclusiva, haciendo hincapié en las relaciones entre la formación docente y las prácticas de enseñanza orientadas a la atención de los estudiantes con discapacidad. Se trata de una investigación cualitativa, desarrollada mediante un estudio de caso en una escuela de la red pública situada en el municipio de São Luiz Gonzaga, en el estado de Rio Grande do Sul. La recopilación de datos se llevó a cabo mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas con docentes de Educación Básica y profesionales de la Atención Educativa Especializada, además de observaciones realizadas en el contexto escolar. El análisis de los datos puso de manifiesto que, aunque los docentes reconocen la importancia de la inclusión escolar, persisten los retos relacionados con la insuficiencia de la formación inicial, la necesidad de procesos sistemáticos de formación continua y las limitaciones institucionales que afectan al desarrollo de prácticas pedagógicas inclusivas. Los resultados indican que la puesta en práctica de la educación inclusiva exige la articulación entre las políticas educativas, los procesos formativos y la reorganización de las prácticas pedagógicas en el día a día escolar. Se concluye que el fortalecimiento de la formación docente constituye un elemento fundamental para la construcción de entornos educativos más equitativos, capaces de promover el desarrollo y el aprendizaje de todos los estudiantes.
