TRATAMENTO DE HIPERPIGMENTAÇÃO PÓS-INFLAMATÓRIA COM USO DO RETINOL: REVISÃO NARRATIVA

Resumo:
Introdução: A hipercromia pós-inflamatória é uma disfunção cutânea caracterizada pelo escurecimento da pele após processos inflamatórios, como a acne, resultante do aumento da produção e deposição de melanina na epiderme ou derme. Essa condição apresenta alta prevalência na prática estética e dermatológica, podendo impactar significativamente a qualidade de vida dos indivíduos. Objetivo: Analisar o uso do retinol no tratamento da hipercromia pós-inflamatória associada à acne. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa da literatura, de abordagem qualitativa e caráter descritivo, realizada mediante buscas nas bases Google Acadêmico, SciELO, PubMed e LILACS. Foram utilizados os descritores: hiperpigmentação pós-inflamatória, acne, retinol e peeling químico. Incluíram-se artigos publicados entre 2015 e 2026, nos idiomas português e inglês. Resultados: Foram selecionados 12 estudos que evidenciaram que o retinol atua na renovação celular, na modulação da melanogênese e na melhora da textura cutânea, contribuindo para a redução das manchas. Conclusão: O retinol demonstrou ser um ativo eficaz no tratamento da hipercromia pós-inflamatória especialmente quando associado a outros procedimentos estéticos, promovendo melhora significativa do quadro clínico.
