MENTAL HEALTH IN PRIMARY CARE:
challenges of welcoming users of mental health services in a municipality in the Jequitinhonha Valley

O estudo aborda a saúde mental na atenção básica, discutindo as dificuldades encontradas no acolhimento aos usuários nesses serviços, visto que o processo de acolhimento é essencial para criar vínculos, favorecer a identificação correta das demandas e realizar encaminhamentos necessários. A pesquisa tem por objetivo identificar as dificuldades encontradas no acolhimento aos usuários nos serviços de saúde mental na Atenção Básica de um município do vale Jequitinhonha-MG. Para tanto, além da revisão de literatura realizou-se pesquisa de campo e análise documental, de abordagem qualitativa, classificada como exploratória quanto aos fins. Por envolver seres humanos, o projeto foi cadastrado na Plataforma Brasil, em janeiro de 2019, sendo encaminhado ao CONEP e submetido à avaliação do Conselho de Ética e Pesquisa, tendo o Parecer Consubstanciado de número 3.289.359, favorável à realização do estudo, expedido em 26 de abril de 2019. Os resultados apontam a existência de entraves que contribuem para que o acolhimento não seja efetivo, resolutivo e humanizado nos serviços de saúde mental na atenção básica. Conclui-se que há pouca discussão e informação sobre o acolhimento nos serviços de saúde e que os profissionais sentem-se despreparados para atender os usuários. Ademais, a falta de capacitação da equipe contribui para distorção ou fragmentação da compreensão e prática do acolhimento. Isso acarreta a não permissão do encontro real entre profissionais e usuários com escuta qualificada, diálogo e rede socioafetiva, favorecendo a permanência dos atendimentos baseados no modelo biomédico.
