UTILIZAÇÃO DE RESÍDUOS AGRÍCOLAS E FLORESTAIS EM BIOCOMPÓSITOS À BASE DE CIMENTO PORTLAND PARA FABRICAÇÃO DE PAINÉIS DE CONCRETO PARA CONSTRUÇÃO DE UMA PRAÇA

Os resíduos agroindustriais são vistos como resíduos de baixa periculosidade, sendo o impacto causado pelo grande volume gerado. Contudo, a disposição irregular desses resíduos pode gerar problemas de ordem estética, ambiental e de saúde pública, pois nesses resíduos também há presença de material orgânico, produtos químicos. Nesse cenário, estudos que visem a aplicação desses materiais para formação de subprodutos sustentáveis, ganha-se destaques. Este estudo busca coletar resíduos da agroindústria que serão utilizados na confecção de artefatos para a construção de uma praça, na Universidade Federal do Tocantins. A pesquisa conclui que a aplicação desses resíduos, como a cinza da casca do arroz e a serragem/cavacos são eficientes ao serem adicionos no concreto para confecção dos intertravados e outros materiais, visto que, não mostraram alterações na estruturais. O ganho para a educação ambiental também foi de suma importância, pois ao se aplicar a praça sustentável dentro da própria universidade, ouve uma participação direta entre a comunidade acadêmica e o ambiente, atingindo assim o objetivo de difundir a sustentabilidade por aplicação de pesquisas com resultados satisfatórios sendo direcionadas no contexto social.
