A partir do ano de 2004 o Estado de Mina Gerais fez o documento, conteúdos Básicos Comuns da Língua Portuguesa (CBC) no qual foi construído e oferecido aos professores das escolas deste estado. Esta investigação pretende fazer um estudo dos problemas e tendências atuais na formação e superação dos profissionais e seu impacto no desenvolvimento. Isso faz necessário, considerando que os discentes do ensino das escolas deste estadoestão sendo prejudicados, pois as provas para ingressar nas universidades oficiais tem exigido competências, enquanto os professores estão a ensinar por meio dos conteúdos. A metodologia utilizada consistiu em uma revisão de literatura, perpassando por uma explanação do CBC, de textos de autores como ZABALA, DOLZ, PALMIRA, UNESCO, entre outros. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a importância de trabalhar na correta produção de textos,por meio de competências, como parte das exigências de uma formação com qualidade do profissional da carreira de pedagogia.
