EducationAbstract
This study aims to understand the importance of digital media in education for the inclusion of students with disabilities. The methodology used was bibliographic research, through theoretical references on the subject. It sought to contextualize, in general aspects, the use of digital media in education, subsequently providing a brief overview of the importance and challenges of the educational inclusion of students with disabilities through these tools. In conclusion, it was possible to observe that the use of these media in education still faces many barriers, including the need to adapt pedagogical projects, the lack of infrastructure and adequate materials, and the lack of teacher training, the latter being one of the greatest challenges to be faced. Therefore, although these new media are already being used gradually by educational institutions, there is a lack of public policies specifically aimed at the inclusion of students with disabilities within the various spheres and levels of education.
