A EFICÁCIA DAS TÉCNICAS FISIOTERAPEUTICAS NA ESTIMULAÇÃO PRECOCE DE CRIANÇAS COM PARALISIA CEREBRAL

A encefalopatia crônica não progressiva infantil (ECPI) ou paralisia cerebral (PC) ocorre devido uma lesão no sistema nervoso central (SNC) durante o desenvolvimento de maturação do encéfalo da criança. A lesão causada no cérebro é irreversível, sendo que um dos tratamentos é a estimulação precoce, que permite a criança com PC desenvolver seu maior potencial. O objetivo deste trabalho foi descrever por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica a eficácia das técnicas fisioterapêuticas na estimulação precoce e como esse tipo de intervenção poderá contribuir e melhorar o desenvolvimento motor de crianças com Paralisia Cerebral. A metodologia aplicada foi qualitativa descritiva, apoiandose na revisão bibliográfica. Os resultados demonstraram que a PC de fato interfere no desenvolvimento motor normal da criança impactando sua vida social e necessita de equipe multidisciplinar para o tratamento eficaz. Concluiu-se que a estimulação precoce auxilia no desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor através de estímulos, promovendo aquisição de habilidades que não estavam presentes, e conta com o conhecimento e intervenção de fisioterapeutas em casos de PC.
