IMPORTÂNCIA DAS CONSULTAS DE PUERICULTURA NO DIAGNÓSTICO DE PACIENTES COM TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA (TEA)

O presente artigo discutiu importância das consultas de puericultura no diagnóstico de pacientes com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (tea). O objetivo foi identificar o papel da enfermagem na assistência de pacientes com diagnóstico ou suspeita de ser portador do TEA, e se há dificuldade nas consultas de puericultura, pois é de competência do Enfermeiro saber orientar, dar apoio, ter conhecimento suficiente sobre o assunto para saber identificar os sinais e sintomas, diferenciando de outras síndromes, juntamente com outros profissionais da área da saúde. A metodologia utilizada foi de natureza qualitativa, de cunho descritivo e documental e quanto aos meios uma revisão bibliográfica, utilizando-se publicações nas bases SciELO, Google acadêmico, sites do governo federal e estadual como o Ministério da Saúde, YouTube, sites oficiais do TEA, dentre outras com um artigo de 1996 e demais com datas superiores a 2012. Ao final, considerou-se que a assistência de Enfermagem é de extrema importância na prestação do cuidado, auxiliando na promoção do desenvolvimento da criança, facilitando o acesso às informações sobre o transtorno e promovendo ações que proporcionem o bem-estar do paciente e do seu familiar direcionando-os aos serviços de saúde essenciais.
