O PARADOXO ESQUIZOIDE-FUNCIONAL DO PERSONAGEM DOUTOR HOUSE: COMO DEFESAS PATOLÓGICAS SE TRANSFORMAM EM GENIALIDADE DIAGNÓSTICA E AJUSTAMENTO CRIATIVO

O presente artigo analisa o paradoxo esquizoide-funcional do Doutor Gregory House para elucidar se suas defesas patológicas e distanciamento emocional se transformam em vantagem diagnóstica. Apoiando-se na teoria das relações objetais de Ronald Fairbairn, nos mecanismos de defesa de Anna Freud e no narcisismo patológico de Otto Kernberg, o estudo investiga a gênese de sua genialidade médica a partir de traumas relacionais primários. Adicionalmente, a pesquisa integra lentes biopsicológicas e da Gestalt-Terapia para examinar a fratura na fronteira de contato do personagem com o seu meio e a perda de sua integralidade corpo/mente. Conclui-se que o distanciamento afetivo e a intelectualização de House configuram-se como um autêntico ajustamento criativo gestáltico. Ao se posicionar no que a teoria chama de ponto-zero, a sua incapacidade de formar vínculos genuínos é instrumentalizada e alquimicamente convertida em excelência terapêutica.
