PERCEPCIONES DE LOS ESTUDIANTES SOBRE LA ASIGNATURA DE ANATOMÍA HUMANA EN PROGRAMAS DE PREGRADO

Introducción: El inicio de la formación universitaria es un período marcado por inseguridades relacionadas con la elección profesional. Por esta razón, muchos estudiantes tienen dificultades para comprender la relevancia de la base anatómica para su futura práctica profesional. Objetivo: Este estudio evaluó la percepción de estudiantes del área de la salud sobre los factores que interfieren en la motivación y en el aprendizaje de los contenidos de Anatomía Humana en cursos de grado. Metodología: Los estudiantes respondieron un cuestionario con 40 preguntas relacionadas con el perfil del estudiante y su percepción sobre: la metodología utilizada en las clases; el aprendizaje; las evaluaciones; el conocimiento del contenido de Anatomía; su interés por la asignatura; y su aplicación práctica. Resultados: Fueron entrevistados 120 estudiantes, predominantemente mujeres (86,67 %), con edades entre 19 y 22 años (76,67 %), que ya habían cursado Anatomía Humana. La mayoría de los estudiantes evaluó positivamente la estructura de los laboratorios (73,33 %) y no estuvo de acuerdo con que los debates al final de cada clase fueran estimulados por el profesor (77,50 %). En cuanto al aprendizaje, estrategias como la elaboración de resúmenes (80,83 %), la relación del contenido con el propio cuerpo (65,00 %) y el uso de exámenes anteriores (64,17 %) fueron señaladas como eficaces. Respecto a las evaluaciones, los estudiantes destacaron la inadecuación del tiempo disponible en las pruebas prácticas (72,50 %). Los encuestados reconocieron la importancia de la anatomía para su futura profesión (90,00 %), aunque señalaron el exceso de contenido en un tiempo limitado (88,33 %). Además, afirmaron que la asignatura fue interesante (83,34 %) y que contribuyó a la comprensión de otras áreas (80,00 %). Conclusión: Los resultados de esta investigación revelaron percepciones positivas de los estudiantes con relación a la asignatura de Anatomía Humana. Los estudiantes reconocen la importancia de la anatomía y valoran prácticas que favorezcan el aprendizaje activo, la integración clínica y la claridad de los objetivos. Sin embargo, según los encuestados, aún persisten desafíos relacionados con la carga horaria de la asignatura, la creatividad docente y la adecuación de las evaluaciones.
