O USO DE FÁRMACOS NO TRATAMENTO DO ALCOOLISMO

Este estudo fez uma análise acerca do uso de fármacos no tratamento do alcoolismo. O alcoolismo é uma doença crônica, primária, vinculada a fatores genéticos, psicossociais ou ambientais, esses fatores influenciam diretamente no desenvolvimento e manifestação do hábito do etilismo. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever sobre a eficácia do uso dos fármacos: Dissulfiram, Acamprosato e Naltrexona para o tratamento do alcoolismo como meio de reintegração social; A metodologia deste estudo foi de natureza qualitativa; quanto aos fins fez-se uma descrição acerca do tema proposto e quanto aos meios desenvolveu-se uma análise bibliográfica. Ao final considerou-se que o alcoolismo torna-se então um problema de saúde pública com grande evidência, pois, compreendeu-se que o tratamento e acompanhamento da pessoa que faz uso indiscriminado do álcool requer um esforço da família, uma vontade do usuário em cessar com o hábito do etilismo, bem como é fundamental a inserção dos profissionais de saúde num trabalho continuo, ou seja, família-paciente-profissional de saúde, todos envolvidos no processo de busca por estratégias que devolvam a vontade da pessoa em viver bem no convívio social e ao mesmo tempo devolvendo qualidade de vida.
